  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds and ostomies, including physical, psychological, and social factors
  • Develop individualized care plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective and holistic care
  • Administer treatments and therapies according to physicians' orders and established protocols
  • Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatments, and adjust care plans as needed
  • Educate patients and their families about wound and ostomy care, including proper techniques, potential complications, and lifestyle modifications
  • Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, promoting a positive and supportive healing environment
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and facilitate care, including referrals to other specialists and community resources
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical skills and knowledge in wound care and ostomy management, staying up-to-date with evidence-based practices and industry developments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities, including electronic medical records and other required forms
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the delivery of patient care
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in wound and ostomy care.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Rn License: The Clinic Rn Must Possess A Current And Valid Registered Nurse License In The State Of Employment.

  • Wound Ostomy Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Wound Ostomy Certification From An Accredited Program.

  • Experience In Wound Care: The Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care, Preferably In An Outpatient Or Clinic Setting.

  • Strong Communication Skills: The Clinic Rn Should Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Ability To Work Independently: The Candidate Must Be Able To Work Independently And Make Clinical Decisions Related To Wound Care Treatment Plans. Previous Experience In Wound Care Case Management Is Preferred.
