
Benefits Assistant
The primary job function is to assist employees with information regarding determining eligibility for all Company offered insurance plans; hospitalization; amounts and limits of coverage; benefits claims procedures; benefits premium cost and adherence to benefits policies and procedures. Maintains and processes benefit enrollments, changes, qualifying life events and termination paperwork. Checks forms for accuracy and completeness. On a regular basis, provides administrative support to the Benefits Department (filing, light typing, sorting, etc.).
