
Supply Chain Manager
We are looking for a talented and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join the Mercedes-Benz Group. The successful candidate will be an experienced logistics professional with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiasm for delivering outstanding results. The ideal candidate will bring experience in supply chain processes, as well as a highly organized and driven approach to work. They must have a strong business acumen, an ability to think outside the box and a commitment to delivering excellence.Qualifications required include: • A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or another related field• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in supply chain management, with experience in automotive, retail or manufacturing sectors being a distinct advantage• An understanding of international logistics, customs and transportation regulations• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and other supply chain software
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the entire supply chain process, from procurement and production to distribution and customer service.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance, identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to maximize efficiency and cost savings.
- Develop and implement supply chain policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors and suppliers.
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and suppliers.
- Prepare and analyze reports to track key performance indicators and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead and develop supply chain teams to ensure their success.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Logistics
Supply Chain Management
Business Administration Or Related Field
At Least Five Years Of Experience In The Automotive Supply Chain Field
Comprehensive Knowledge Of Lean Manufacturing Principles And Processes
Proven Experience In Establishing And Managing Global Supply Chains
