- Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans for Driver Assistance Functions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure thorough coverage and timely delivery.
- Lead a team of software testers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high-quality and efficient testing processes.
- Conduct risk analysis and identify potential areas of improvement, implementing appropriate measures to minimize risks and enhance overall product quality.
- Utilize various testing techniques and tools to identify and report defects, working closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Monitor and track testing progress and results, providing regular updates to stakeholders and management.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing, and proactively incorporate them into the testing process.
- Collaborate with project managers and product owners to define testing requirements and priorities, ensuring alignment with overall project goals.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test cases, test reports, and defect logs.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance testing processes and strategies, identifying and implementing opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Foster a culture of quality and excellence within the team, promoting a mindset of continuous improvement and striving for excellence.
Extensive Experience In Software Testing: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Software Testing, With A Focus On Driver Assistance Functions. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Different Testing Methodologies And Tools, As Well As Experience In Creating And Executing Test Plans.
Knowledge Of Driver Assistance Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Driver Assistance Technologies Such As Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, And Automatic Emergency Braking. They Should Be Able To Identify Potential Issues And Provide Solutions To Improve The Performance And Reliability Of These Functions.
Leadership Skills: As A Test Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Testers. They Should Have Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Mentor Team Members, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Ensure Timely And High-Quality Delivery Of Testing Results.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Test Lead Will Be Required To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Developers, Project Managers, And Product Owners. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential To Effectively Convey Testing Results, Provide Feedback, And Resolve Any Issues That Arise.
Automotive Industry Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of The Automotive Industry, Particularly In The Context Of Driver Assistance Systems. They Should Be Aware Of Industry Trends, Regulations, And Standards, And How They May Impact The Testing Process. Knowledge Of The Mercedes-Benz Brand And Its Products Is Also A Plus.
