Manufacturing Engineer

Mercedes- Benz Group is looking for an experienced and passionate Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes and systems, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products, and managing the development and implementation of strategies to reduce costs and improve safety. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and problem solving skills, knowledge of industry standards and regulations, experience with CAD software, and a working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. In addition, the successful candidate must be able to read and interpret technical documents, have strong organizational and time management skills, and be able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve safety in the manufacturing environment.
2. Improve manufacturing processes and systems to ensure the efficient production of high-quality products.
3. Utilize CAD software to design and create manufacturing plans and models.
4. Monitor and analyze production processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
5. Develop and implement plans for process improvement and cost reduction.
6. Monitor and evaluate the performance of production systems and processes.
7. Create and maintain technical documents, such as operating instructions, schematics, and design specifications.
8. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to production personnel.
10. Develop and implement lean manufacturing principles.
11. Train and supervise production personnel in the use of production systems and processes.
12. Manage projects and ensure timely completion.
