Cashier

Menards is looking for a friendly and professional Cashier to join our team! We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who can multi-task and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, have excellent organizational abilities, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
2. Process customer payments accurately and efficiently using cash register systems and other POS systems.
3. Issue receipts, refunds, store credit, or change due to customers.
4. Resolve customer complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
5. Maintain accurate cash drawer by counting cash, checks, and credit/debit card transactions.
6. Balance cash register and generate report at the end of each shift.
7. Maintain clean and organized checkout area.
8. Assist with stocking shelves and other tasks as assigned.
9. Follow all store safety and security policies.
10. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
