Job Description

The Surgery Technician scrubs for surgical procedures in the Operating Room at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, as assigned under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Surgery Technician provides safe cost-effective patient care throughout the preoperative, intra-operative, and post-operative periods to the Operating Room patient according to established LBMMC standards.

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technician in an Operating Room is required

  • Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Experience Preferred

  • Certified Surgical Technician is Preferred
