Clinical Informatics Specialist

MemorialCare is looking for a highly motivated Clinical Informatics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Clinical Informatics Specialist will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of our electronic medical records systems and other clinical information systems. We are looking for someone who has a passion for technology and a strong understanding of healthcare processes and systems.The ideal candidate for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Information Management, or a related field and at least two years of experience in a clinical informatics/healthcare IT role. The successful candidate should also have a working knowledge of healthcare information systems and demonstrated experience with clinical documentation systems. A working knowledge of computer programming languages and/or software development is preferred, but not required.The Clinical Informatics Specialist must be able to work effectively with both technical and clinical personnel, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have a strong commitment to customer service.
