  • Assist surgical team in preparing operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Prepare and position patients for surgery
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
  • Hand instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedures
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of surgical procedures
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective surgical outcomes
  • Stay up-to-date on surgical technology advancements and techniques
  • Provide support and assistance to other members of the surgical team as needed
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with updates and addressing any concerns they may have
  • Comply with all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory and accrediting agency standards
  • Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings as required.

Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of A Surgical Technologist Program Or Equivalent Education And Training.

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Credential From The National Board Of Surgical Technology And Surgical Assisting (Nbstsa).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Surgical Technologist In A Hospital Or Surgical Center Setting.

  • Knowledge And Proficiency In A Wide Range Of Surgical Procedures, Including Both General And Specialized Surgeries.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced, Team-Oriented Environment.
