Senior Research Scientist

To be successful in this position, you must have a PhD in a relevant field, at least 5 years of research experience, and a proven track record of successful publications. In addition, you should possess excellent communication and time management skills, a strong aptitude for problem solving, and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead scientific research projects to further MSK's mission of providing the best possible cancer care and discovering new ways to combat cancer.
2. Develop research plans and strategies to effectively carry out research projects.
3. Analyze and interpret research results and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
4. Develop research protocols and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
5. Communicate research progress and findings to internal and external stakeholders.
6. Effectively manage time and resources to ensure research goals are achieved.
7. Collaborate with other researchers to identify research opportunities and develop new strategies.
8. Stay abreast of industry trends and developments to ensure research projects remain relevant.
9. Write and publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals.
