  1. Develop and implement business intelligence strategies to improve patient safety and quality of care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
  2. Utilize clinical analytics tools to analyze and interpret complex data sets related to patient safety and quality measures.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, administrators, and researchers to identify key areas for improvement and develop data-driven solutions.
  4. Design and maintain dashboards and reports that provide relevant and actionable insights to stakeholders.
  5. Conduct regular data audits and quality checks to ensure accuracy and reliability of data.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in business intelligence and clinical analytics to continuously improve processes and methodologies.
  7. Communicate complex data findings and insights in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Train and mentor junior analysts on data analysis techniques and best practices.
  9. Identify and recommend new data sources and technologies to enhance data collection and analysis.
  10. Participate in research projects and contribute to publications and presentations related to patient safety and quality of care.
  11. Maintain a strong understanding of Memorial Sloan Kettering's mission and values, and incorporate them into all aspects of the role.
  12. Adhere to all privacy and confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive patient data.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert on business intelligence and clinical analytics for the organization and provide guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve upon existing processes and methods to ensure the highest level of data accuracy and efficiency.
  15. Work collaboratively with IT and other teams to troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to data analysis and reporting.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Informatics, Business Analytics, Or Healthcare Administration.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Business Intelligence Or Data Analysis, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Data And Systems, With A Focus On Patient Safety And Quality Measures.

  • Advanced Knowledge Of Data Analytics Tools And Programming Languages Such As Sql, Tableau, And Python.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Data To Various Stakeholders, Including Clinical Staff And Leadership.
