Research Technician

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Research Technician to join the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leading edge research and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of science. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative team and to help move the field of cancer research forward.The successful Research Technician will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or Bioengineering. They should also have at least two years of experience in a laboratory or related setting. A strong working knowledge of laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and data analysis tools is required. The individual will also need to possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.

Responsibilities:

1. Execute laboratory experiments according to established protocols.
2. Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
3. Analyze and interpret experimental data.
4. Prepare research presentations and reports as needed.
5. Utilize data analysis tools to evaluate results.
6. Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed.
7. Keep detailed records of research activities and findings.
8. Maintain communication with other team members to discuss findings and progress.
9. Assist with the development of new research protocols.
10. Adhere to all ethical guidelines and regulations in conducting research.
