- Greet and welcome patients and their families to the cancer center with warmth and compassion.
- Provide excellent customer service and help create a welcoming environment for patients and their families.
- Assist with directing visitors to appropriate areas of the center and providing information about services and resources available.
- Help facilitate patient appointments and assist with scheduling as needed.
- Support patients and their families during their time at the center, offering emotional support and listening to their needs.
- Collaborate with staff to identify and address any concerns or needs of patients and their families.
- Help maintain a clean and organized environment for patients and visitors.
- Support the center's events and activities, including educational seminars and fundraising events.
- Act as an ambassador for the center, promoting our mission and values to the community.
- Attend training and informational sessions to stay updated on the latest information and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment by treating all patients, visitors, and staff with respect and dignity.
- Continuously seek ways to improve the patient and visitor experience at the center.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and answering phone calls.
- Represent the center in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In Volunteer Management Or Related Field, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Public Health, Social Work, Or Non-Profit Management.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact Effectively With A Diverse Group Of Volunteers And Staff.
Previous Experience Working With Cancer Patients And/Or In A Medical Setting Is Highly Preferred.
Demonstrated Leadership Skills And Ability To Coordinate And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
