Job Description

At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Radiopharmacist to join our world-class team. As a Radiopharmacist, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing radioactive drugs, as well as providing education and guidance to patients and other healthcare professionals. We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in chemistry, radiopharmacy, and nuclear medicine, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities:

  1. Compound and dispense radioactive drugs according to established protocols and regulations.
  2. Monitor and maintain inventory of radiopharmaceuticals.
  3. Develop and maintain safety protocols for handling and storage of radioactive drugs.
  4. Participate in patient consults and provide guidance and education to patients and their families about the use of radioactive drugs.
  5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of radiopharmaceuticals.
  6. Monitor patient responses to radiopharmaceuticals and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  7. Document all radiopharmaceutical activities according to established protocols.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient treatment plans.
  9. Stay current with the latest developments in radiopharmacy and nuclear medicine.
  10. Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to radiopharmacy and nuclear medicine.

  • Licensed Pharmacist In The State Of New York
