  1. Perform radiation therapy treatments according to physician's prescription and treatment plan.
  2. Monitor and assess patient's reactions and responses to treatment and report any side effects or adverse reactions.
  3. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress.
  4. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
  5. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  6. Educate patients and their families about treatment procedures, potential side effects, and self-care measures.
  7. Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
  8. Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of treatments.
  9. Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during treatment sessions.
  10. Stay updated on advancements and changes in radiation therapy technology and techniques.
  11. Adhere to ethical and legal standards, as well as institutional policies and procedures.
  12. Contribute to creating a positive and welcoming environment for patients and their families.
  13. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  14. Maintain confidentiality of patient information and uphold HIPAA regulations.
  15. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  16. Assist in the training and supervision of new radiation therapists.
  17. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned by the department manager or physician.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiation Therapy Or Related Field.

  • Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working As A Radiation Therapist.

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Treatment Modalities, Such As Imrt And Sbrt.

  • Strong Communication And Patient Care Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And High-Pressure Environment.
