
Program Director - Therapeutic Medical Physics
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Program Director - Therapeutic Medical Physics to join our team. In this role, you will lead and manage the daily operations of the Therapeutic Medical Physics program. We are looking for a motivated individual with knowledge and experience in radiation oncology physics and a passion for providing excellent patient care.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in radiation oncology physics, as well as a Master’s degree in medical physics or related field. Other required qualifications include excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the Therapeutic Medical Physics program.
- Ensure excellent patient care is provided and maintained.
- Communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to radiation oncology physics.
- Oversee the training and development of radiation oncology physics staff.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the program.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of radiation oncology physics and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Prepare reports and presentations for review and update.
