Job Description

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center seeks an experienced and motivated Postdoctoral Researcher with expertise in Statistical Genetics and Genomics to join our leading research team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects to enhance our understanding of the genetic basis of cancer.We are looking for a professional who has a PhD in Statistics, Genetics, or a related field, as well as experience with the analysis of genetic and genomic data. The ideal candidate will also have expertise in bioinformatics tools for analyzing DNA sequence data. Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to work both independently and collaboratively on research projects. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage expertise in Statistical Genetics and Genomics to support the research team's efforts to understand the genetic basis of cancer.
  2. Analyze genetic and genomic data using bioinformatics tools.
  3. Work independently and collaboratively on research projects.
  4. Maintain clear and concise communication with the research team and other stakeholders.
  5. Remain up-to-date on the latest developments and advances in the field of cancer research.
  6. Work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and goals.
  7. Prepare reports and presentations regarding research findings.
