Postdoctoral Research Fellow
We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center team. The ideal candidate will have a strong scientific background and experience in the fields of cancer research, immunology, or molecular biology, and a passion for making a difference in the fight against cancer. The Postdoctoral Research Fellow will be an integral part of the Center’s research team, working with a diverse group of physicians, scientists, and staff to further our mission of providing the best cancer care to our patients. As part of this role, the successful candidate will engage in independent research projects, develop and implement research strategies, and analyze and interpret data. The successful Postdoctoral Research Fellow will possess the following qualifications:• PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, or a related field• Demonstrated research experience in cancer biology• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively• Experience with laboratory techniques and methods
Responsibilities of the Postdoctoral Research Fellow:
- Conduct independent research projects and develop and implement research strategies.
- Analyze and interpret data.
- Collaborate with physicians, scientists and staff to pursue the mission of providing the best cancer care.
- Utilize laboratory techniques and methods.
- Prepare research presentations and manuscripts.
- Assist with grant and funding applications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in cancer research, immunology, and molecular biology.
- Participate in seminars, conferences, and workshops.
