  1. Conduct independent research in cancer data science, utilizing advanced computational methods and techniques.
  2. Collaborate with other researchers and experts in the field to contribute to cutting-edge research projects in cancer genomics and precision medicine.
  3. Analyze and interpret large-scale cancer genomics data sets to identify potential biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
  4. Develop and implement innovative approaches for data analysis and visualization to improve understanding of cancer biology.
  5. Publish research findings in high-impact scientific journals and present at conferences.
  6. Stay current with advancements in cancer research and data science, and integrate new methods and technologies into projects.
  7. Mentor and supervise junior members of the research team, including graduate students and technicians.
  8. Assist in grant writing and fundraising efforts to secure funding for cancer data science research.
  9. Collaborate with clinicians and other researchers to translate findings into clinical applications.
  10. Maintain detailed records of research methods, results, and analyses.

Job Qualifications
  • A Phd In A Relevant Field Such As Cancer Biology, Bioinformatics, Or Computational Biology.

  • A Strong Background In Data Analysis And Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As R, Python, Or Sql.

  • Experience Working With Large Cancer Datasets And Knowledge Of Cancer Genomics And/Or Transcriptomics.

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, As The Role Will Involve Collaborating With Other Researchers And Presenting Findings To A Diverse Audience.

  • A Track Record Of Publications In High-Impact Journals And A Demonstrated Ability To Independently Lead And Execute Research Projects.
