Nurse Leader

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Nurse Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Nursing Department to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care to our patients and families. You will be a mentor and coach to Nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the highest levels of patient care.To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of five years of experience in a leadership role in a healthcare setting. You must also possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and possess a valid nursing license. Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Nursing Department to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care to patients and families.

3. Develop and implement strategies to improve nursing practices and patient outcomes.
4. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a high level of care is provided.
5. Monitor and evaluate nursing performance and provide feedback.
6. Manage budgets and resources efficiently.
7. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
8. Participate in strategic planning initiatives.
9. Participate in regular meetings with other healthcare professionals to discuss patient care.
10. Identify areas for improvement in patient care and develop strategies to address them.
