Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Our team of dedicated healthcare professionals strive to provide the highest quality care to our patients and families. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a key role in our organization by providing exceptional patient care. The successful candidate should have an Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology and demonstrated experience with MRI scanners in a healthcare setting. Additionally, they will possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively. A strong knowledge of MRI protocols, anatomy, and the ability to troubleshoot is essential. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be committed to providing a safe and supportive environment to our patients and families.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate MRI scanners in a safe and effective manner according to established protocols.
  2. Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient safety.
  3. Perform MRI scans in accordance to established protocols and physician orders.
  4. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  5. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  6. Troubleshoot and perform scans in accordance with quality assurance standards.
  7. Develop and implement patient-specific MRI protocols.
  8. Provide education and training to staff and students on the use of MRI scanners.
  9. Participate in professional development activities to stay current on the latest MRI technology.
  10. Ensure compliance with all institutional and regulatory guidelines.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Organizational

  • Certified As A Radiologic Technologist (Arrt) In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mr)

  • Registered Technologist In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mrt) By Arrt

  • Possess A Minimum Of Years Experience In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri)

  • Master's Degree In Radiology Or Other Related Field Preferred

  • Thorough Knowledge And Understanding Of Safety Protocols And Procedures Pertinent To Mri
