
MRI Technologist
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an experienced MRI Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing MRI scans and will be a key contributor to our patient care mission. If you have strong technical skills and the ability to provide compassionate care to patients, we invite you to apply.The ideal candidate for this position will possess a minimum of an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field. Additionally, they must have the appropriate license for the state in which they are employed. The successful candidate must also have at least one year of experience in a clinical setting performing MRI scans.We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. They must be highly organized and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate should also demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans in a clinical setting for patients in accordance with the highest standards of safety.
- Ensure that all MRI scans are completed within a timely manner.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of data.
- Monitor MRI equipment and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Assist in the training of new MRI technologists.
- Remain current on all related policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology
• National Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri)
• Knowledge Of Various Mri Techniques
• Knowledge Of Mri Safety & Patient Care
• Ability To Interpret Doctor's Orders Accurately
