Investment Analyst

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an Investment Analyst to join our team and support our mission of providing world-class cancer care and life-saving research. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with strong analytical and financial skills who has a passion for investing and an understanding of the capital markets. We are looking for someone with a detail-oriented approach who is able to make sound decisions and take initiative. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Candidates should also have a minimum of three years of experience in the investment industry. Additionally, the candidate should have a strong knowledge of investment products, financial and accounting concepts, and the ability to analyze investment options. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze financial statements, market trends, and investment options to make sound investment decisions.
2. Monitor portfolios and research new investment opportunities.
3. Prepare and review investment reports and presentations.
4. Develop and maintain relationships with outside vendors, clients, and other financial institutions.
5. Utilize financial and accounting concepts in financial modeling and investment analysis.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the capital markets and investment products.
7. Provide assistance and advice to team members on investment strategies.
8. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures related to the investment process.
9. Work with the team to develop and execute investment strategies.
10. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
