Faculty - Gastrointestinal Oncology

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is recruiting an experienced and highly-motivated Faculty – Gastrointestinal Oncology to join our world-renowned team of oncologists. The ideal candidate is an innovative and team-oriented leader with a passion for providing outstanding patient care and conducting groundbreaking research. We seek a physician-scientist who is board-certified in oncology/hematology and has experience in the field of gastrointestinal oncology. The successful candidate must have a strong background in clinical and translational research and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is also essential. Responsibilities:

1. Provide outstanding patient care in the field of gastrointestinal oncology.
2. Develop and conduct clinical and translational research in the field of gastrointestinal oncology.
3. Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other faculty, staff, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
4. Lead and mentor junior faculty and other healthcare professionals.
5. Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety initiatives.
6. Provide educational presentations and lectures to faculty, staff, and students.
7. Participate in clinical trials and research studies.
8. Collaborate with other departments, divisions, and centers to ensure a high quality of care and service.
9. Manage and monitor patient care and service levels.
10. Remain current with the latest developments in the field, including new research findings and clinical guidelines.
