
Faculty - Gastrointestinal Oncology
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is recruiting an experienced and highly-motivated Faculty – Gastrointestinal Oncology to join our world-renowned team of oncologists. The ideal candidate is an innovative and team-oriented leader with a passion for providing outstanding patient care and conducting groundbreaking research. We seek a physician-scientist who is board-certified in oncology/hematology and has experience in the field of gastrointestinal oncology. The successful candidate must have a strong background in clinical and translational research and possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is also essential. Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding patient care in the field of gastrointestinal oncology.
- Develop and conduct clinical and translational research in the field of gastrointestinal oncology.
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other faculty, staff, providers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Lead and mentor junior faculty and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety initiatives.
- Provide educational presentations and lectures to faculty, staff, and students.
- Participate in clinical trials and research studies.
- Collaborate with other departments, divisions, and centers to ensure a high quality of care and service.
- Manage and monitor patient care and service levels.
- Remain current with the latest developments in the field, including new research findings and clinical guidelines.
