
Faculty - Computational Oncology
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Faculty member in Computational Oncology to join our world-renowned team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Computational Oncology as well as expertise in areas such as data analysis, informatics, machine learning, and genomics. We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, a dedication to collaborative research, and a passion for driving innovation and excellence in cancer research. The successful candidate will join an international team of dedicated oncology researchers and clinicians who share a passion for improving the lives of cancer patients.Required Qualifications:• PhD or equivalent in Computational Oncology, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, or a related field• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, informatics, machine learning, and genomics• At least 3 years of experience in an academic, industry, or clinical setting• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively• Record of creative problem solving, and the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions• Dedication to advancing cancer research and improving patient care
Responsibilities: • Lead collaborative research projects with an interdisciplinary team of oncology researchers and clinicians • Conduct data analysis, informatics, machine learning, and genomics research to advance cancer research and improve patient care • Develop innovative solutions and strategies to address complex oncology challenges • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals • Create and maintain relationships with collaborators and partners • Mentor junior researchers and students • Present research findings at conferences and other scientific events • Stay up to date with advances in Computational Oncology and related fields
