
Director, Program in Myelodysplastic Syndromes Leukemia Service
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Director of our Program in Myelodysplastic Syndromes Leukemia Service. This individual will lead our team of world-renowned specialists in providing comprehensive care to patients affected by MDS and Leukemia. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in hematology-oncology, as well as a deep knowledge of the clinical, research and administrative aspects of MDS and Leukemia. The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong managerial and organizational capabilities, and a commitment to patient-focused care. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of specialists dedicated to providing comprehensive care to patients with MDS and Leukemia
- Develop and implement patient-focused care plans for MDS and Leukemia
- Conduct research to advance the field of MDS and Leukemia
- Develop and implement protocols that promote patient safety and quality of care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, organizations, and institutions to improve patient care
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of patient care protocols
- Prepare and deliver presentations on MDS and Leukemia
- Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians and organizations
- Participate in the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of new staff members
- Oversee the budget and financial operations of the program
Md Or Equivalent Degree
Board Certified/Eligible In Hematology/Oncology
Experience With Clinical Research In Myelodysplastic Syndromes Leukemia
Knowledge Of Clinical Trials And Protocols
