
Community Outreach Coordinator
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an experienced, motivated individual to serve as our Community Outreach Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the visibility and presence of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in the local, regional, and national communities. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Communications, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience working in community outreach or related roles. They should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating and engaging diverse communities, and a strong commitment to helping those affected by cancer. They must also be able to work independently and have experience managing projects and leading teams. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to increase the visibility of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in local, regional, and national communities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Educate and engage diverse communities on the services and programs available through Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
- Work independently to manage and lead projects and teams.
- Monitor and evaluate outreach initiatives to ensure objectives are achieved.
- Develop and implement innovative outreach strategies to reach new and underserved communities.
- Coordinate and attend community events to promote the mission and values of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
- Assist in developing materials and presentations for community outreach initiatives.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management to ensure outreach objectives are met.
