
Clinical Pharmacist Coordinator
We are searching for a highly motivated and caring Clinical Pharmacist Coordinator to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. This is a full-time position that offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment to support our mission of providing the highest quality of care for our patients.The ideal candidate will have a Pharm.D degree and New York State licensure as a Pharmacist, as well as 5+ years of experience in a hospital setting. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills. The successful candidate must also be committed to providing excellent customer service and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior.At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, we take pride in providing our patients with compassionate and comprehensive care in an atmosphere of respect, dignity, and trust. Responsibilities:
- Ensure all medication orders are filled and delivered to the patient in a timely manner
- Ensure all medication orders are accurate and meet the standards of care and safety
- Monitor, evaluate, and recommend changes to current medication protocols to ensure the highest quality of care
- Provide education and mentoring to staff members on medication protocols
- Manage medication inventory and supplies
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff, to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain records and documentation of patient medication orders and related activities
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as internal policies and procedures
