Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Clinical Nurse In The Operating Room At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Active Rn License: Candidates Must Have An Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of New York Or Be Eligible To Obtain One.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In The Operating Room: Candidates Must Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Registered Nurse In An Operating Room Setting.
Certification In Perioperative Nursing: Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Prefers Candidates Who Are Certified In Perioperative Nursing, Such As Cnor Or Cnrn.
Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: As A Clinical Nurse In The Operating Room, Candidates Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With The Surgical Team And Be Able To Think Critically In High-Pressure Situations.
