Clinical Nurse - Gastroenterology Nursing

Are you a Clinical Nurse with a passion for Gastroenterology Nursing? As our Clinical Nurse - Gastroenterology Nursing, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to those with gastrointestinal (GI) cancers and other GI complications. You will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes.This is an outstanding opportunity for an energetic and compassionate RN who has a strong passion for delivering high quality and patient-centered care. To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of two years of experience in gastroenterology nursing, along with a valid New York State RN license. Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care to those with GI cancers and other GI complications.
2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes.
3. Monitor patients’ conditions and assess patient needs to develop individualized care plans.
4. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed.
5. Monitor patient progress and response to treatments and medications.
6. Educate patients and families about GI cancer, treatments, and self-care.
7. Maintain patient records and document patient progress.
8. Participate in research initiatives and clinical trials.
9. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
