
Clinical-Academic Faculty, Radiation Oncology
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is looking for an experienced and passionate Radiation Oncologist to join our world-class team of Clinical-Academic Faculty. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to patient care and research in the field of Radiation Oncology. The ideal candidate must have an MD or MD/PhD, Board Certification in Radiation Oncology, and a minimum of 5 years of post-residency practice and teaching experience. An academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College is also required. Additionally, the successful candidate should demonstrate strong clinical and teaching skills as well as an ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our team of dedicated and talented faculty. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about delivering the highest quality of care as well as advancing the field of Radiation Oncology through research and teaching.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in the field of Radiation Oncology, as well as participate in multidisciplinary patient care teams.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of Radiation Oncology.
- Develop a research program in the field of Radiation Oncology and collaborate with other faculty members in the department.
- Participate in clinical and educational conferences, and maintain professional development.
- Participate in committees or other activities at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Md. Or Equivalent Degree
Board Certification In Radiation Oncology
Current Medical License In The State Of New York
Experience Teaching Medical Students And/Or Clinical Trainees
Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Clinical Research Protocols
A Strong Record Of Scholarly Publications
