  1. Develop and implement communication strategies that align with Memorial Sloan Kettering's mission and goals.
  2. Lead and manage a team of communication professionals to execute initiatives and projects.
  3. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure effective and consistent communication across the organization.
  4. Create and maintain communication plans and calendars to ensure timely and accurate delivery of messaging.
  5. Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the success of initiatives and make necessary adjustments.
  6. Identify and implement best practices for communication within the healthcare industry.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in communication technology to continuously improve communication efforts.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets to promote Memorial Sloan Kettering's initiatives and accomplishments.
  9. Prepare and deliver presentations to various audiences on communication strategies and initiatives.
  10. Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on communication matters.
  11. Ensure all communication materials and messaging adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
  12. Manage crisis communication and provide guidance to teams during sensitive situations.
  13. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the communication team.
  14. Develop and manage communication budgets and resources.
  15. Act as a representative of Memorial Sloan Kettering at industry events and conferences.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Communications, Public Relations, Or Marketing, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Or Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Proven Track Record In Developing And Executing Strategic Communication Plans, Including Crisis Communication Management.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Diverse Audiences.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience, Including Managing A Team, Budget, And Vendor Relationships.
