Assistant General Counsel

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant General Counsel to join our renowned legal team. In this role, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and guidance to the organization and its affiliates. As a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing a variety of legal issues and providing advice to internal stakeholders. To be successful in this role, you must have a JD from an accredited law school and at least 7 years of experience in a law firm or corporate law department. You must also be an excellent communicator and have the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal advice and guidance to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and its affiliates.
2. Research and analyze a variety of legal issues.
3. Provide advice to internal stakeholders.
4. Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Prepare legal documents as needed.
6. Monitor and keep up to date with relevant laws and regulations.
7. Represent the organization in legal proceedings.
8. Prepare and present legal arguments as needed.
9. Advise on legal risks and implications of proposed plans and actions.
10. Monitor legal trends and developments in the field.
