
Application Analyst I - Epic Clinical Documentation

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an Application Analyst I to join our team and support our Epic Clinical Documentation system. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and implementing system changes to enhance the functionality and efficiency of our clinical documentation processes. - Provide technical support for the Epic Clinical Documentation system to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Troubleshoot any system issues and work towards timely resolutions.
- Implement system changes to improve the functionality and efficiency of clinical documentation processes.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and resolve system issues.
- Monitor and analyze system performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain documentation of system processes and procedures.
- Train and support end-users on system functionality and best practices.
- Stay updated on new features and updates in the Epic system and make recommendations for implementation.
- Adhere to all security and compliance protocols to ensure patient data confidentiality.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement and system optimization.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and projects and see them through to completion.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Epic systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies and updates.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance and expand skills and knowledge in the healthcare and technology fields.
- Support the mission and values of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in all aspects of the role.
Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Systems, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With The Epic Clinical Documentation Application.
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Operations And Clinical Documentation Processes.
Experience With Troubleshooting And Resolving Technical Issues Within The Epic System.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams.
