  1. Provide exceptional care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  3. Utilize advanced clinical knowledge and skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in interventional radiology and incorporate them into patient care.
  5. Educate patients and their families on procedures, treatment plans, and potential side effects.
  6. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  7. Document all care provided in a timely and accurate manner.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  9. Maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion while interacting with patients and their families.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to enhance patient care.
  11. Keep abreast of current healthcare trends and incorporate them into practice.
  12. Attend continuing education programs and maintain required certifications and licenses.
  13. Serve as a role model and mentor to other healthcare professionals.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Nursing Or Physician Assistant Studies: To Be Considered For An Advanced Practice Provider (App) Job At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Candidates Must Possess A Master's Degree In Nursing (Msn) Or Physician Assistant Studies (Pa).

  • State Licensure And Board Certification: Qualified Candidates Must Hold A Current And Unrestricted License To Practice Nursing Or As A Physician Assistant In The State Of New York, And Must Be Board Certified As An Advanced Practice Provider.

  • Prior Experience In Interventional Radiology: Applicants Must Have At Least Two Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant In An Interventional Radiology Setting.

  • Oncology Experience: Given Memorial Sloan Kettering's Specialization In Cancer Treatment, Candidates With Prior Experience In Oncology Will Have A Competitive Edge.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As An App In Interventional Radiology At Memorial Sloan Kettering, The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Team Members Is Crucial. Candidates Must Also Possess Strong Critical Thinking, Problem-Solving, And Decision-Making Skills.
