Accession Assistant
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an Accession Assistant to join our team. The Accession Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of specimens for accessioning into the laboratory system. In this role, you will be responsible for following the laboratory’s established protocols to ensure the highest standards of quality. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong commitment to accuracy and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities of the Accession Assistant:
- Follow established laboratory protocols for specimen accessioning processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of specimens for accessioning.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of specimens accessioned.
- Monitor and document laboratory quality control measures.
- Coordinate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient specimen accessioning operations.
- Perform general laboratory duties as needed.
- Assist with the maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide support and training to other staff members as needed.
) Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field
