Job Description

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an experienced and passionate Academic Pediatric Oncologist to join our team and make a positive impact in the lives of pediatric cancer patients. The ideal candidate must be board certified/eligible in pediatric oncology/hematology and have a track record of successful clinical research in the field. We are looking for an individual with strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families. Our team is committed to providing the highest level of care and support to our patients, and the successful candidate will be an integral part of this mission.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide clinical care for pediatric cancer patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  2. Collaborate effectively with medical staff, patients, and their families.
  3. Develop and implement plans for clinical research in the field of pediatric oncology/hematology.
  4. Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of pediatric oncology/hematology.
  5. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all patients.
  6. Educate patients and families on the diagnosis, treatment options, and disease management.
  7. Develop and implement plans for patient follow-up care.
  8. Participate in clinical conferences, meetings, and other professional activities.
  9. Contribute to the development of new protocols, procedures, and processes.
  10. Participate in the evaluation and selection of new staff members.
