- Develop and maintain validation plans and protocols for new and existing products in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define validation requirements and ensure timely execution of testing activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies for product development and manufacturing processes.
- Perform testing and analysis of products, including design verification, process validation, and software validation.
- Participate in the development and implementation of validation procedures and standards to ensure consistency and compliance across all products.
- Provide technical support to cross-functional teams during the product development process, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Review and analyze validation data to ensure accuracy and completeness, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards related to validation and ensure compliance in all activities.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and notified bodies, to support product submissions and audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in internal and external audits to maintain and improve quality standards.
- Communicate validation activities and results to stakeholders, including management and cross-functional teams, in a clear and concise manner.
- Train and mentor junior team members on validation principles and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all validation activities, including protocols, reports, and other relevant documents.
- Drive a culture of quality and compliance within the organization, promoting a patient-centric approach to product development and validation.
Strong Technical Background: A Validation Engineer Should Possess A Strong Technical Background With A Degree In Engineering Or A Related Field. They Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Validation Principles, Processes, And Tools.
Experience In Medical Device Industry: Medtronic Is A Leading Medical Technology Company, And It Is Essential For A Validation Engineer To Have Prior Experience In The Medical Device Industry. This Will Ensure That They Have A Deep Understanding Of The Industry's Regulations And Standards.
Knowledge Of Emea Regulations: Medtronic Is A Global Company, And The Validation Engineer Should Have A Comprehensive Knowledge Of The Validation Requirements And Regulations Specific To The Emea Region. This Includes Iso 13485 And Eu Medical Device Regulation (Mdr).
