Job Description

Medtronic is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team! As the world's largest medical technology company, we are looking for an individual who can use their exceptional writing skills to help us continue to make a positive impact in the lives of our customers.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing and editing, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the medical technology industry. They will be a self-motivated team player with a passion for creating high quality content and a commitment to meeting deadlines. The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for developing and maintaining user manuals, product documentation, and other technical materials for our products. They will be required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, or a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical writing role is also required. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, and Adobe Acrobat is essential. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user manuals, product documentation, and other technical materials for Medtronic products • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations • Create high quality content and meet deadlines • Analyze customer needs and develop technical content accordingly • Ensure content accuracy and clarity for target audience • Utilize Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, and Adobe Acrobat for content creation • Perform quality assurance checks and proofreading to ensure content is error free • Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure content is up-to-date and relevant
