  1. Lead and facilitate agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  2. Coach and mentor cross-functional teams on Scrum principles and practices.
  3. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project goals and priorities.
  4. Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Agile best practices within the organization.
  5. Ensure the team is delivering high-quality, compliant software products that meet customer needs.
  6. Identify and remove impediments that may be preventing the team from achieving their sprint goals.
  7. Monitor and report on project progress, including sprint velocity and team performance.
  8. Facilitate communication and collaboration between team members and other departments.
  9. Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery.
  10. Foster a positive and productive team environment, promoting open communication and a culture of continuous improvement.
  11. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  12. Represent the team in cross-functional meetings and provide updates to senior management.
  13. Train and onboard new team members on Scrum processes and principles.
  14. Uphold Medtronic's commitment to compliance with regulatory standards and processes.
  15. Contribute to the overall success of the software development team and the organization as a whole.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Medical Device Software Development: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Software Development For Medical Devices, With A Deep Understanding Of The Industry Standards And Regulations.

  • Certified Scrum Master (Csm) Or Professional Scrum Master (Psm) Certification: A Sr. Scrum Master At Medtronic Should Possess A Csm Or Psm Certification, Demonstrating Their Expertise In Agile Methodologies And Their Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Development Teams.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Compliance Regulations: Medtronic Operates In A Highly Regulated Industry, And The Sr. Scrum Master Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Fda Regulations, Iso Standards, And Other Compliance Requirements Related To Medical Device Software Development.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Delivery: This Role Requires A Candidate With A Strong Track Record Of Delivering Complex Software Projects On Time And Within Budget. They Should Be Able To Effectively Manage Multiple Projects And Teams Simultaneously.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: As A Sr. Scrum Master, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Motivating Cross-Functional Teams, Communicating With Stakeholders, And Driving Continuous Improvement. Strong Communication And Leadership Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
