We are looking for an experienced Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team at Medtronic. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with a passion for problem-solving and a commitment to excellence. The successful candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline, such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field. You will be expected to not only have a technical aptitude, but also demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate with other departments, manage projects, and ensure that the highest standards are met. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to ensure product quality and cost targets are met.
- Analyze and troubleshoot existing processes to identify and implement process improvements.
- Design and develop tools, fixtures, and automation equipment to improve the efficiency of production processes.
- Develop and maintain a preventive maintenance program to ensure manufacturing equipment is operating optimally.
- Work closely with other departments, such as engineering and quality, to develop and implement design changes and process improvements.
- Implement and maintain lean manufacturing initiatives for the production lines.
- Monitor and manage production schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure that materials are procured on time, and in accordance with quality and cost standards.
- Train and mentor junior manufacturing engineers.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills
