Job Description

The Sr. Manufacturing Engineer position at Medtronic is an exciting opportunity to join an industry-leading medical device company. The successful candidate will have strong technical and problem-solving skills, an eye for detail, and the ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment. We also require the candidate to have experience with process optimization, equipment design, and product development. Additionally, experience with leading cross-functional teams and excellent communication and organizational skills are highly desired.This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to join a team of talented Manufacturing Engineers and make a lasting impact on our products and our business.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and quality of products.
  2. Design and develop manufacturing equipment and fixtures.
  3. Create and maintain documentation related to manufacturing processes.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and processes.
  5. Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  6. Train and mentor team members in technical aspects of the manufacturing process.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve production and quality issues.
  8. Research and evaluate new technologies to identify potential applications.
  9. Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  10. Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with all regulations.
