We are currently seeking a highly experienced and passionate leader to join our team as the Sr. Director of Operational Excellence/Training and HR Lead. In this role, you will play a critical role in driving operational excellence, training, and HR initiatives across our organization.   1. Develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence across all departments and locations within the organization.
  2. Collaborate with department leaders to identify areas for improvement and create action plans to increase efficiency and productivity.
  3. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for employees at all levels, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  4. Oversee the development and execution of leadership development programs to build a strong and capable management team.
  5. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for all HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and talent acquisition.
  6. Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of training and HR initiatives, and make recommendations for improvements.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their continued development and success.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in operational excellence, training, and HR, and implement innovative strategies to drive continuous improvement.
  9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
  10. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Operations Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Leading Operations And Driving Excellence In A Large Organization, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry. They Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Supply Chain Management, Lean Principles, And Process Improvement Methodologies.

  • Proven Track Record In Training And Hr: The Sr. Director Should Have A Demonstrated Ability To Develop And Implement Successful Training Programs And Drive Hr Initiatives In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment. They Should Have Experience In Talent Management, Employee Engagement, And Performance Management.

  • Strategic Thinking And Leadership Skills: This Role Requires A Strategic Leader Who Can Develop And Execute Plans To Drive Operational Excellence And Improve Overall Business Performance. The Candidate Should Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate And Influence Stakeholders At All Levels.

  • Change Management Expertise: Medtronic Is A Large And Complex Organization, And The Sr. Director Should Have Experience In Leading Change And Transformation Initiatives. They Should Be Able To Identify Areas For Improvement, Develop Action Plans, And Implement Changes Effectively.

  • Education And Certifications: A Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Operations Management, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role. An Mba Or Advanced Degree Is Preferred. Additionally, Certifications In Lean, Six Sigma, Or Project Management Are Highly Desirable.
