  1. Monitor and maintain the reliability, scalability, and performance of Medtronic's software systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve system reliability.
  3. Develop and maintain automated processes for software deployment, testing, and monitoring.
  4. Proactively identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  5. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for software engineering.
  6. Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in Site Reliability Engineering.
  8. Maintain documentation for processes, procedures, and configurations related to software systems.
  9. Take ownership of incidents and outages, and work to resolve them in a timely and efficient manner.
  10. Work with software developers to improve the reliability and performance of new and existing software systems.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to keep them informed of system status and potential issues.
  12. Proactively suggest and implement improvements to processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  13. Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 support for critical systems.
  14. Adhere to Medtronic's security and compliance standards.
  15. Continuously strive to improve the overall quality of Medtronic's software systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Engineering, Preferably In A Site Reliability Engineering Role.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++, As Well As Experience With Automation And Scripting.

  • Knowledge Of Cloud Technologies And Experience Working With Cloud Platforms Such As Aws, Azure, Or Google Cloud.

  • Ability To Troubleshoot Complex Technical Issues And Provide Effective Solutions, As Well As A Strong Understanding Of Devops Principles And Practices.
