  1. Design, develop, and maintain critical software components for medical devices using your expertise in software development and embedded systems.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop solutions that directly impact patient care and healthcare outcomes.
  3. Utilize your technical skills and knowledge to contribute to innovative projects and drive continuous improvement in our software development processes.
  4. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in embedded software development, and apply them to enhance our products.
  5. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software components to ensure they meet the highest quality standards.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the development, testing, or deployment phases.
  7. Create and maintain technical documentation for software components, including design documents, user manuals, and test plans.
  8. Collaborate with team members and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  9. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members to facilitate their growth and development.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements while developing software components for medical devices.
  11. Communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations to project managers and stakeholders.
  12. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and systems to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality of software development.
  13. Maintain a strong customer focus and ensure that all software components meet the required user needs and specifications.
  14. Represent Medtronic and its values in a professional manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As C, C++, And Assembly.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Embedded Software Development.

  • Strong Understanding Of Real-Time Operating Systems And Embedded Systems Design.

  • Experience With Medical Device Development And Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations And Standards (E.g. Fda, Iso) Is Preferred.
