  1. Develop and implement automated tests for software products to ensure high quality and reliability.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, product managers, and clinicians to understand product requirements and design test strategies.
  3. Perform manual testing when necessary and report any issues or bugs found.
  4. Maintain and update test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  5. Execute and analyze test results, identify areas of improvement, and propose solutions to enhance product quality.
  6. Continuously improve and optimize the testing process to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  7. Investigate and troubleshoot issues reported by customers or internal stakeholders and provide timely resolutions.
  8. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to developers to ensure code quality and testability.
  9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software testing methodologies.
  10. Collaborate with other SDETs to share knowledge, best practices, and improve overall testing strategy.
  11. Communicate and report test results, progress, and any potential risks to project stakeholders.
  12. Adhere to regulatory and compliance standards in software testing and documentation.
  13. Mentor and train junior team members on software testing processes and tools.
  14. Contribute to the overall improvement of the software development process at Medtronic.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development And Testing.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Java, Python, Or C++.

  • Familiarity With Software Testing Methodologies And Tools, Including Automation Frameworks And Continuous Integration.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Troubleshoot Complex Software Issues.
