  1. Lead the design and development of tooling solutions for Medtronic's medical devices.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and develop innovative tooling solutions.
  3. Conduct feasibility studies and provide recommendations for tooling design and implementation.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to ensure tooling meets quality and regulatory standards.
  5. Manage tooling projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
  6. Conduct regular tooling maintenance to optimize performance and minimize downtime.
  7. Troubleshoot and provide technical support for tooling-related issues.

  13. Provide regular progress updates to management and stakeholders.
  14. Continuously strive for process improvement and cost reduction in tooling development and maintenance.
  15. Represent Medtronic as a subject matter expert in tooling engineering at conferences and industry events.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Tooling Engineering Within The Medical Device Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Mechanical Engineering Or A Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Design Principles And Manufacturing Processes.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Injection Molding, Cnc Machining, And Other Manufacturing Processes Used In Medical Device Tooling.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Managing And Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Develop And Implement Tooling Solutions For Complex Medical Devices.

  • Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously, And The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders At All Levels.
