  1. Conduct statistical analysis for data related to peripheral vascular products and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement statistical plans for clinical trials and studies.
  3. Develop and maintain statistical programs and tools for data analysis.
  4. Perform quality control checks on statistical analyses and ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
  5. Interpret and communicate statistical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Provide statistical support for product development, including sample size determination and power calculations.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and advances in statistical methodologies and apply them to improve analysis processes.
  8. Mentor and train junior statisticians on statistical methods and processes.
  9. Collaborate with regulatory teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  10. Communicate results and recommendations to senior management and contribute to strategic decision making.
  11. Contribute to publications and presentations at scientific conferences.
  12. Uphold ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of all data and information.
  13. Work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve any statistical issues or challenges.
  14. Ensure adherence to timelines and deadlines for statistical deliverables.
  15. Continuously improve statistical processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Statistics Or Related Field: A Senior Statistician At Medtronic Should Possess A Master's Or Doctoral Degree In Statistics, Biostatistics, Or A Related Quantitative Field. This Ensures A Strong Foundation In Statistical Methods And Techniques For Analyzing Complex Data Sets.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Statistical Analysis: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Statistical Analysis, Preferably In The Medical Device Or Healthcare Industry. This Experience Should Also Include Hands-On Experience With Statistical Software Such As Sas Or R.

  • Knowledge Of Peripheral Vascular Field: A Senior Statistician At Medtronic Should Have A Solid Understanding Of The Peripheral Vascular Field And Its Associated Statistical Methods And Techniques. This Includes A Working Knowledge Of Clinical Trial Design, Data Collection, And Analysis In This Specific Area.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Statistician, The Candidate Will Be Expected To Work Closely With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Medical And Scientific Experts. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For Effectively Conveying Complex Statistical Concepts And Findings To Non-Technical Stakeholders.

  • Experience With Regulatory Submissions: Medtronic Is A Highly Regulated Industry, And A Senior Statistician Should Have Experience With Preparing And Submitting Statistical Documentation For Regulatory Approval. This Includes Knowledge Of Regulatory Guidelines And Requirements, Such As Fda And Iso Standards.
