  1. Conduct statistical analysis and modeling to support decision-making processes and improve patient outcomes.
  2. Develop and implement innovative strategies and methodologies to analyze complex data sets.
  3. Utilize statistical software and programming languages such as SAS, R, and Python to conduct data analysis and generate insights.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and provide statistical support.
  5. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  6. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in statistical methods and techniques.
  7. Lead and mentor junior statisticians on best practices and methodologies.
  8. Ensure accuracy and quality control of all statistical analyses.
  9. Work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  10. Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements in data analysis and reporting.
  11. Continuously evaluate and improve statistical processes and procedures.
  12. Represent the organization in conferences and meetings as a subject matter expert in statistics.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive data.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Statistics Or Related Field: A Senior Statistician At Medtronic Should Possess A Master's Or Phd Degree In Statistics, Mathematics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Statistical Analysis: Candidates Should Have Extensive Experience In Designing And Analyzing Statistical Models And Experiments, Preferably In The Medical Device Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines: Medtronic Is A Highly Regulated Company, And A Senior Statistician Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Fda Requirements For Clinical Trials And Data Analysis.

  • Proficiency In Statistical Software And Programming Languages: A Senior Statistician Should Be Proficient In Statistical Software Such As Sas, R, Or Python, And Have Experience In Programming And Data Manipulation.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior Member Of The Statistical Team, The Candidate Should Have Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Statistical Findings To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
