- Lead and drive the Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE) process for Medtronic's medical devices.
- Utilize technical knowledge and project management skills to identify and implement cost savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve the overall quality of products.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on VAVE techniques and methodologies.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology to drive innovation within the organization.
- Communicate progress, findings, and recommendations to management and other relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and increase efficiency within the VAVE function.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and team members.
- Play an active role in driving the mission of Medtronic to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life through innovation and quality products.

Extensive Experience In Product Development: A Senior Product Engineer-Vave Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Product Development, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Completion. This Includes Experience With Vave Methodologies And Working With Cross-Functional Teams.
Strong Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Technical Background In Engineering, With A Focus On Mechanical, Electrical, Or Biomedical Engineering. They Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Product Design And Development Processes, As Well As A Good Understanding Of Medical Device Regulations And Standards.
Project Management Skills: As A Senior Product Engineer-Vave, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Managing Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
